' Open Your Eyes '
Since we proclaimed the worker is free
The rich have played games with you and me,
For abusing our money we pay them a fee,
Then they cover it up with lies.
They play lurid games with stocks and shares,
Financially beneficial to the one who dares,
Lose it all they'll say, who cares,
The instigator then denies.
The lower classes lose all that they had,
Their pension funds ruined drives them mad,
Those who caused it are extremely glad,
As they walk away with their prize.
The moneys no more becomes their fabrication,
The world markets suffer false stagnation,
Meanwhile we receive no compensation,
Ways to hide it they then devise.
All the money that's gone does still exist,
Problem is blink and then it's missed,
It's just stashed elsewhere therein lies the twist,
Our money they then idolize.
The bailout then starts paid for by us,
A double whammy, they ask what's the fuss,
Through their corruption, you could drive a bus,
Their con they then reorganise.
The corrupt market traders then invest our wealth,
Watching them gloat is bad for your health,
For centuries now they've robbed us by stealth,
It's us they financially chastise.
The money they steal is completely ill-gotten,
Through to the core they're completely rotten,
In years to come it's forgiven and forgotten,
We their victims they totally despise.
From our politicians to rich city bankers,
For our contribution, the con merchant hankers,
They view us the workers as their stable anchors,
For Gods sake,
