A Tesseract OrTwo

*******************************

*******************************

the train rumbles at night
so close the ground shakes
I'd like to be on it
traveling down its track to
some far away

looking out onto the dark plain of sky
the sun not yet risen
I think of other skies
places I've yet to go
people I'd like to be
universes I might see
far beyond my window

thoughts can only take me
so far, so high
yet the mind keeps searching and
I've been doing so much thinking
lately

both in my sleep and waking times
I find myself absent
in the daily doings
but out of rhythm with the rhyme
my mind out of mind

floating in the ether
of somewhere else
clouds might do
for the escape
or perhaps its not too late for
a tesseract or two
to get me gone
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

singular thought:
bubble of thought merges with sky
sun rises purple-vermillion along a limitless horizon
(oh, how much I'd like that.)

"universe of stars...are you shining for me..."
my take on that latest popular song.
I'd like for my opportunities to be endless
just like my imagination. so much better to think like that than
to think or believe you might be running out of time.
