un-Completion (I Prefer It)

******

not out of dreams
but out of time
enough desire to seed the clouds
and make it rain year-long
then
who would stop the rain
no one

do you feel
done?
completed?

the journey will be mine
memories to fill a millennium and more
the capacity to recall them all

are you
done and
completed?

I think not

life would be hollow
purposeless
with
no trial left to overcome
nothing more to seek
no more creatures/people left to meet
no more mysteries
no more cheek-to-cheek
with destiny
the ficklest fate

I'd forsake finishing
for an eternity
of problems yet unsolved

I can do this
look I made this
how now...see,
I am who I was
nothing to be negated
I live on imperfectly
not complete
so I can live again
another day.

I prefer and embrace my state of imperfection.
It makes life more interesting.
It also means that there were will be more adventures
left in life to experience, and problems left to solve.
Life ought to be a life-long process of continual learning.
