 Sir Ricky's Inspirational Poetry Corner

Blessed are the ones, who disobey,
Are forgiven and sin pardoned;
That they no longer go astray,
And their hearts no longer hardened.

Blessed are those who no longer sin,
And who have no deceitful thought;
That the Lord purified within,
From all earthly desires sought.

When I kept silent of my sin,
My bones began to waste away;
I became very frail and thin,
As I kept on groaning all day.

Day and night His hand lay on me,
My strength shriveled from summer heat;
As my vision too dim to see,
That the Lord had caused my defeat.

I acknowledged my sin to Him,
No longer covering my guilt;
With losing my vigor and vim,
I confessed as to be rebuilt.

God forgave of my transgression,
Since my wickedness did not hide;
Because my sincere confession,
And promised to start to abide.

Let all people pray to the Lord,
Anytime when He can be found;
Godly people are not ignored,
When lips and tongue will make a sound,

Raging waters will never reach,
Since the Lord is their hiding place;
Because of His Scripture did teach,
All about His mercy and grace.

The Lord will teach you where to go,
Advise you as He follows you;
Because God will already know,
Your path will be on which avenue.

Do not be stubborn like a mule,
Or the Lord needs a bridle and bit;
So be not like a stubborn fool,
Like a baby having a fit.
