She ain't comin' back

The mirror of my dreams just fell off the wall

Came about when she walked out and slammed the front door

No tears, no excuses, no text of regret

Just a note by the stove said she ain't comin' back

I see through the same eyes, I use the same brain

The world has moved on whilst I've stayed the same

My future's gone AWAL, I'm yesterday's man

I've lost my charisma, I've lost my shazam

The glass of my dreams just fell off the wall

Fragments of crystal all over the floor

Too many to count for a stick-in-the-mud

Said goodbye to my life with a dustpan and brush
