Poetic-Verses
'' When You Die ''
We are fully aware,
It causes despair,
To find answers we step up the pace,
Are those solutions we seek really there?
In the darkness of what we call space.
What is it we seek,
That makes us go weak,
It's the cause of so many disputes,
Yet in truth there is no mystique,
What one claims the other refutes.
Who's right or wrong,
To say me, there's a throng,
Their opinions become very aloof,
To find the answer shouldn't take long,
Why, because there's no proof.
Fantasy ideals,
To the Human appeals,
Reality to them isn't enough,
Make up a deity they fall head over heels,
But don't try calling their bluff.
Scientoligists and, Jews,
Christians and Hindus,
Their Gods speak of peace and goodwill,
Yet each other they love to abuse,
They all have the desire to kill?
They praise their Lord,
As they take up the sword,
Then go butchering an enemy that annoys,
Did the losers deity cut the cord?
Barbarism even their God enjoys.
They are chasing a dream,
Their souls to redeem,
To do this they'll go to great pains,
An unhealthy belief in a being supreme,
Who lives off their hard-earned gains.
I'm not being uncouth,
There's no Heavenly booth,
Where final justice your Gods will apply,
You're just too scared to face the truth,
It's to ashes then dust,
' When You Die '
