My woman She looked me straight in the eye Took my hand in hers and said 'I am going to love you to within an Inch of your life.' I couldn't believe A woman would say that but she Wasn't just any woman, she was, She later told me, my woman
She looked me straight in the eye Took my hand in hers and placed it On her heart and said 'do you feel The love I have for you and if you do Can you return it in equal measure?' I said I could and I would for I have Never before known love for a Woman as I do for you right now
She looked me straight in the eye Took my hand in hers and placed it On her breast and said 'you have Become a man tonight, my man and You will dwell with me forever even After death.' Taking a small blade From a silver purse she drew blood First from my palm then from her own
She looked me straight in the eye Took my hand in hers and squeezed And said 'we are now one, our blood Has sealed our love and what is done Cannot be undone.' 'I am yours and You are mine forever' and with that The stars rejoiced and the festivities
In the enchanted wood began
