was made void by self vanities
Those voting for themselves
Others of the same faith
Those who really never read
Anyone poems for poetry content
I write about my family
I don't expect them to win the contest
I am not buying a poetry book
So my poem well be printed
Poet of the year four years in a row
Poet has all the books $35 a copy
The Canadian poet and others ruined the contest
Winning poem
Me and my cat Murphy
Are sitting here voting for my poem
Smoking cocaine
It's an hour now I can revote
After I light up a new tote
I am setting up a new site
I can vote again all night
The winning poetry a fake
So kids don't get all upset
Jesus loves me
My sisters in Christ vote
for me show who cares
It is not about who wins
But a poem that touches more than one heart
And sadly for self edification
Those poems are seldom read
The winning poet of the week
Is busy voting on different sites
For his own and friends poetry
and that is what has killed the contest
