They say I have a hangup over my Father
Remember him only too well
I wanted to be there to lead him to hell
In a house fire the Devil came to take him
The title of my Biography, "Sharing Wine with the Devil!"
I have no pity for those who claim addictions
I trained from childhood to bring that man down
Many a time my left hand swollen in pain
No son of that mean giant would be off handed
I raise my fist today the hand that would bring him down
Eleven in a coma I was taken to the Hospital protecting Mom
Sixteen I loaded the shotgun with rifle bullets
Had I seen Sis holding the pistol this would be a different writing
Only saw him once again at the funeral home
Eldest son was in that State Executor didn't want him dead or alive
Never looked at the Estate just signed it away
Yet the pain of that Wino still bothers me today
Without a beating by me he got away to share wine with the Devil
