A father GRAND
By my grand--daughters of four,--ages-- thirteen, eleven, eight, , and TWO,-- so proudly -besides them--i -will--ALWAYS---STAND
My grand-children, they know me--BEST
They listen to me, and believe in me, more not LESS
The way that they look in my --EYES
Is --pure --love, --with--no--doubt--and--no --DISQUISE
All, with such of a sweet, loving, DEMEANOR, innocent, and--RESPECTFUL
In each and in every way, complete and full
With these grand-daughters of FOUR
I know im done and through working, and stressing, dealing with all of the politicking---, so my undivided full attention, i can enjoy, my grand children so much more
With my own children of eight
So many deployments away, as a MARINE, was my FATE, ----and in my --NURSING, career, many late and over-time shifts i worked, and week- ends --holidays-- and to make ends meet, always --worked so--long--extra--and--LATE
But now with my grand-children, my work is done over and --THROUGH
And believe me, im gonna stay in touch with them, very closely and will stick to them like super glue
As a father, i did my, very BEST
Raising the kids and working, and working paying the bills and dealing with all the stresses and politics of work, that made me feel so much less
Through my grand kids, i can make up for all the lost times i had to be at WORK --and--away
From -my -own -children, -as -they -were, -growing -up -every -day
A father, GRAND
Behind my four grand--daughters--every minute, and hour of--every--day--strongly--and--boldly--Besides them i will STAND
