Some people play the Jesus Game
But they don't know Him in the least.
And they're the ones most likely
To embrace " Mark of the Beast."
They've listened to wrong doctrine...
Have been fed with Satan's lies...
Not recognizing wolves still tend
To wallow in a sheep's disquise.
The Church today has lost its fire!
O, where is The Holy Ghost?
Where is the weeping at the altar?
Where is the stink of sin diagnosed?
Altar calls are almost antique!
We seldom hear The Sinner's Prayer!
This is not a preacher putdown
But, instead, a warning to beware!
It's the difference between right and wrong...
Between a Heaven and a Hell!
If you are called to preach The Gospel...
Then, I beg of you, please preach it well!
Don't water down the Words of Jesus!
He rightly called a snake a snake!
Religion never saved one soul!
The Word of God has proved it fake!
No building, even if it is called church,
Can be called a Holy Place.
It takes God to make it Holy!
It takes His Presence and His Grace!
What is Church without a message?
What is a message without Truth?
The pews may hold a congregation...
But we shall know them by their fruit!
The Bible tells us we're the Church...
The building's used to shelter us.
Yes, we need shepherds tending the flock...
But, Lord, send those whom we can trust!
Our Churches need to preach The Cross!
To preach the Savior crucified!
To preach repentance and redemption!
To preach The Blood ran from His side!
O, preach the Thorns crushing His forehead!
Preach the Nail Prints in His hands!
Preach it hard but preach it simple...
So the smallest child there understands!
Good works will not get us to Heaven! Jesus is the One and Only Way!
To all you would be priests and preachers...
My prayer is with you all today!
No one should play the Jesus Game...
It is surely not a game for sinners!
The souls of mankind are at stake ...
And Hell will not house any winners!!

or losing this game depends on how radically
different the portrait of Jesus is from the historic Gospel
narratives. The prize is maximum coverage and recognition,
and any frowns from the faithful are ignored amid
the skyrocketing sales. This is the culture we live in
and the antidote is TRUTH!!!!
2 Timothy 4:3-4
For the time is coming when people will not endure
sound teaching, but having itching ears they will
accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own
passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth
and wander off into myths.
See to it that no one takes you captive by
philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental
spirits of the world, and not according to Christ.
For the word of the cross is folly to those who are
perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written, “I will destroy the
wisdom of the wise, and the discernment of the
discerning I will thwart.” Where is the one who is
wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of
this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of
the world? For since, in the wisdom of God, the world
did not know God through wisdom, it pleased God
through the folly of what we preach to save those who
believe. For Jews demand signs and Greeks seek wisdom, ...
Philippians 1:27
"But whatever happens to me, remember always to live
as Christians should, so that, whether I ever see you again
or not, I will keep on hearing good reports that you are standing
side by side with one strong purpose--to tell the Good News"
Ephesians 4:25. "Therefore, rejecting outright everything that is false, let us all show forth this true reality to those who are like minded with us, for we are all members of the same body."
