 JANET'S PLANET

Lost

The lonely, miserable, tired, woman

looked up at a piece of art hanging on the wall.

the statement in the old crooked frame

shouted out to her, "Not All Who Wander Are Lost."

have you ever wandered not knowing where you were going?

for the past several years she feels that she has aimlessly wandered.

she is on an unpredictable journey.

everything around her has changed.

the places she used to go are no longer there.

the people she used to know in her mind are all strangers.

her entire world has turned upside down.

nothing will ever be the same.

I suppose when we get lost, we must be found.

in the meantime she has no desire to be found.

she will continue to wander on because she is lost.
