'' They're On The Verge Of Extinction ''
There's no denying,
As a species we're dying,
So why can't we see the facts,
The human psyche is the master of lying,
Do we really commit criminal acts?
We butcher then plunder,
Commit many a blunder,
But to mistakes we refuse to admit,
Oops there's a carpet let's sweep them under,
Then bury them in a mass pit.
The truth we smother,
Try to outdo each other,
Genocide we pretend to abhor,
If we cannot agree we destroy one another,
Under the guise of a war.
Don't stand in our way,
Or we'll make you pay,
The consequences we don't even consider,
The extinctions that follow do not have a say,
We just go with the highest bidder.
We can be abrupt,
So don't interrupt,
If you do they will make you cower,
You're nothing on Earth unless you're corrupt,
Status brings wealth and great power.
You can bet,
We're a terrible threat,
To everything on Earth that's alive,
That is something you must never forget,
There's a danger we will not survive.
Killing all that remains,
We destroy what sustains,
The truth is we make no distinction,
The intelligent beings do not use their brains,
That's why,
