Penniluck's legacy
Just A Naught
To my lovely son Stan or James McGinnis who is 49 years old today 3/4/17 Happy birthday my son love always Mum and Star hugs xxx
Now my darling you`re forty-nine
All grown up and doing fine
Working hard to make a dime
I am so glad that you are mine
So many years have gone on by
But I still hear your baby cry
Feel your soft and tender skin
Deep brown eyes I see within
All that I hope you will be
And sometimes there I did see me
Though you looked a lot like Dad
McGinnis runs through you my lad
Skinny legs and great big hands
Yes the leader of the bands
Of anyone who needed saved
You made sure they all behaved
Off to school and then you grew
Started working that is true
Met your first love still to meet
The one who`ll lie down at your feet
And love you `till the cows come home
Then you`ll never be alone.
Love is waiting round the bend
Until then you`ve got a friend
In me your Mum who loves you so
Every minute that you grow
Into who you`re meant to be
All my love my son from me
Have a happy day my boy
Hope you got your favourite toy
Most of all I wish you health
And if you`re lucky lots of wealth
Birthdays come and birthdays go
But this is one I think you know
Is special for in just a year
Fifty will be with you dear
But it`s painless just a naught
On the end of what you`ve got
So enjoy being forty-nine
Love you son throughout all time.
