Throughout life we always put others first
It comes naturally we are not coerced,
Others` needs are important to us
And we do it with very little fuss.
We put ourselves out to put their needs first
With other things they are so immersed,
They never see the sacrifices we make
Or how much of our time it may take.
It`s taken for granted just what we do
But here`s a thought between me and you,
We`ve taught them we`re second by putting them first
Wonder what would happen if the roles were reversed?
