Compartmentalized Memories

Compartmentalized
Memories

Compartmentalized memories
Play upon restless winds

Awaiting resurrection
Of tears yet to be shed

Releasing visions of
What was our yesterday

An ending somehow to be found
To our sad love story long played

Bringing your vision now to become sweet
Beneath the stars of yesterday's moon

As a dear friend once said of her Mom
And so applies to you and I
You loved me the only way you knew how...

Within a today where remembrance
Brings only the sweetness of your smile

In loving memory
Of my Mother

And still
April 8, 2017

Just thinking about you today
and always Mom
We love you still
