I found this poem i wrote when i just moved out and it was a nightmare ha ha
Gas running away
Power outage
Boiler on the blink
Cooking is a no go
Nor is a bathe
Just stuck in an ice cage in the middle of March
UK ain't OK
Frozen like the movie
Waiting for the gas man
Waiting on an engineer
Waiting on a plumber
Independence is a pain in the ass
Though its kinda cool in the back of your mind
studying away partially dreaming of living alone
Sat alone in your own room wishing for space
Only now i know it ain't all its cracked up to be
Uh oh
Waiting on the repair man and some deliveries
Bin man say little lady don't mix the plastics
Waiting for the next fortnight collection
Bin man say little lady this is heavy
Out of milk and out of bread
Scraping the barrel for a bite to eat
Epileptics are not treated fair for insurance on good jobs
Though i am articulate and perfect for the job
Boss man evil say the company ain't insuring an epileptic
Mama say go on welfare, but the money ain't even enough to survive
Frozen special offers even the bread
Long life milk was more yuck than yummy
No luxuries and no holidays i can imagine
Damn it gotta top up the power meter
3 am and freezing go catch the cab before the seizure
I can't pay back some debts on time
Late payment fees on some bills
Life alone kinda sucks and i don't think Twilight enjoys it either
Mama say your cat came home
One problem creeps up after the next
I often wondered how big adulthood problems were
Until Suddenly it HIT ME
Right in the midst of my face
