Feedback – In a garden in America

The evening warm and the garden

Inviting so I sat and waited for the moon

To rise and watched as it slowly journeyed

Across the English night sky inexorably

Heading west and in the direction of a

Lady who later similarly sat in a garden

In America. A lady who patiently waited

For the sun to set and the moon to rise

And when it did she swore she felt the

Kiss I earlier gave the moon to deliver

With all expediency ASAP

The following evening warmth and the

Still of the night drew me again to the

Garden this time in wait of a messenger

Moon and a special kiss sent all the way

From a garden in America and yes, the

Lady was right, for I too felt her lips, her

Breath on my cheek and her kiss safely

Delivered from one garden to another

By the light of the moon

Without feedback there would be no

Garden, no moon, no kiss, no make-believe

Not exactly 'Sleepless in Seattle,' more

Accurately two friends who met over poetry

And found they shared a sense of high

Romance sprinkled with the impossible

Feedback can be a wonderful place

Kindness, generosity and positivity their

Own reward
