Will I be ready for the coming of the LORD!

Will I be ready for the coming of the LORD? I am referring to the blessed event of the redeemed
of the earth, The Rapture!

Oh, Will I be ready for the coming of the LORD!
When the roll is called up yonder, will I be there!
Have I been properly prepared!  Have I been properly prepared!

Yes, I have been saved since the tender age of nine.
At the age of thirteen I rededicated my life to
my beloved LORD and savior, Jesus Christ!

Unfortunately, I have been unfaithful the majority of
my earthly life.  How many times have I turned away
from my LORD and savior, Jesus Christ!
I only wish it were untrue!
Far too many times, precious LORD have I forsaken you!

I can not always blame the circumstances of my life.
For neglecting you LORD Jesus Christ!
Help me to forgive, and teach me how to live!
Keep me on the straight and narrow way.

Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD!
I do not have to become "re-saved!"
Salvation abides for always!
Salvation abides for always!

I do not believe in temporary salvation!
It is an error which is plaguing our nation.
I have lost: my fellowship, my relationship, my
protection and deliverance many times before!

I probably have forfeited the vast majority
of any remaining potential heavenly rewards!
My so called good works may be burned up by fire!
Yet I myself will be saved!

Yet! I do not want a failing grade, I do not want
a failing grade! Wood, hey and stubble is not
good enough for me! And yet it is what I have
painfully earned!

I have cried out earnestly, I want to rejoice
when the roll is called up yonder!
When times comes for the heavenly rewards,
I do not want to be staring at me feet!
It is no longer good enough! It is no longer
good enough.  You may call this ranting and raving!
I call it pleading!

I do not have to fight this battle all alone
and on my own! "No wonder they call him the Savior!"
"No wonder I call him my Savior and Redeemer!

"God in your mercy, hear my prayers!
God in your mercy, hear our prayers!
God, in your mercy, deliver us!"

Love in Christ Jesus!
