Isn't growing old wonderful?
A doctor a day apples
But mine have fallen
Rotting on the ground
A pill for this a pill for that
In this easy chair too long
I have sat Grandpa needs a nap
After four months of rain outside sunshine
I am going out in the garden so sublime
Luck is we surface above the water line
Within an hour the dirt turned to slush
The lawn looking like trees
Too old to get on my knees
Was that a dandylion or four leaf clover?
And it is raining again
An apple a day keeps the Doctor away
Unless asthma ends the day
Going back in for a cup of coffee
They say it is going to rain all day
Mow the lawn and bring in hays
At least the addicts are smoking the weeds away
