No way do I sit on the computer
voting for my own poem to win a contest
Opinion: One vote for an honest good poem
But for some it is ego
A fortune to buy your own book
Seriously folks--if it ain't good it ain't good
The best poem read
"Casey at bat" or Rudyard Kipling's, "IF"
My personal favorite, "Oh the Comfort"
Look it up a must read for honest love
MT RAINIER
In a last show of vanity
Summer leaves an orange-red
Hemorrhage over white
Capped mountains and casts
A shadowed image
Black is the sky
That torments the eye
With a shadowed mist
Below a lover missed
as rain washes away the tears
