 A New Woman

You would only keep the lens focused on me
I'd be the only one in the frame
Not a million other girls
You would be proud i am yours
You would crown me your queen
You'd be my king
You'd always hold my hand
You would't argue your point across
Nor put the phone down on me
You wouldn't pressure me
You would have waited until i was ready
You would never accuse me of bull**** i never intended
You'd read my texts correctly
You wouldn't use me
Nor take advantage of me
Or try it on with no intention to commit
You would not hurt me
Nor ignore me like its normal
I am not 17 anymore
Why ask me to give up my purpose of poetry
My author878 socials
You would trust you will be mine and i will commit to you
You would trust that i will stay faithful
You would understand i only spoke to you because i trusted you
You would know that i wouldn't hurt you
You shouldn't have emotionally cheated
Given the oppurtunity you would have cheated on me
You would have broken me, but i felt i was yours
This is what killed me
You cannot stand what i am saying
Only the truth hurts
LIES KILL
