Who Is To Hold The Dream?

Who Is To Hold The Dream

Once upon a time in the today

Where reality had found

A mournful song to play

Entered to dream

This heart grown weary

Now ...

Just beyond the shadows leery .....

She finds herself in a distant land

Transported as a single

Grain of sand

She floats upon a wind

She cannot feel

Within a dream that seems

So very real

Well hello there Mr. Dragon

Whom just might you be

Are you truly part of

What is reality

Or a symbol of dimension

Awaiting somehow to be seen

Is it I that sees you

Or ...

You that gazes upon me

Which of us

Is to hold the dream

You know what

You don't scare me

My dragon's rage much larger

In the life that I lead

Here you rest upon my arm

Not frightening at all

Holding somewhat of a

Dashing charm

Really big

Really bad

Hmmmmmmmm . . . .

Her dragon's in the life she'd led?

Now we must leave

This dream allowed to play

Remembrances' of

Remains of what is her today

Awaken princess to new vow

To claim the dream

That is the now

This dream a call to arms

Of dragons waiting to be slain?

I wish you luck to put to rest

The dragons

Of your yesterday
