At the Green Dragon
It's one hoolie of a night
Jon with his mixer
Getting the sound just right.
Then there's solos and
Duos and trios as well
All making that pub
Rock jive and gell.
Everybody joins in
For a sing a long
Though at times it's
Some original song.
Even a spot
Of spoken word
A respectful audience so
Every phrase is heard.
For the last half hour
A fantastic type of mix
As the musicians form up
Even as many as five or six.
And the night speeds on
To the final song
The night passed so fast
Until suddenly it's gone.
