In wait of thee

I dream a dream that will not fade

Nor will in time my heart escape

You're in my arms, sweet breath inhale

We haven't met, but will one day

My bedside table lamp that sees

The earth that moves beneath the sheets

But what it sees are merely dreams

Portents of what one day will be

Portents of love the likes of which

Would curl the toes of those who wish

Who wish, but never see the nights - of

Love like this - touch where you like

Touch where you like, touch all of me

Take all you need, Take what you please

Take all the time it takes to be

The dream I dreamt in wait of thee
