Proverbially Speaking


The house was in utter darkness
Every single switch seemed dead
And then a sudden thought
Flashed through his head.
He assembled all his mates
There in the Stygian night
And suddenly the house
Was streaming full of light
He could have kicked himself
For being such a silly burke
Forgetting that old proverb
Many hands make a light work
