Mama called her Mama to take her to the place
Where her wee laddie Stanley would join the human race
But on the way she screamed out loud
Almost gathering up a crowd
To see her Mama midwife stand
And deliver to this land
From inside his Nannies car
A baby boy come from afar
Nannie on the outside calm
Helped this lovely little man
Into the world of mice and men
And she'd do it all again.
The strangest thing was just outside
Was the house they did reside
When Mama was a baby girl
And Nannie's youth spent in a whirl
Of baby smiles and joy and laughter
Now it's happy ever after
Today this little laddie Stan
Is a three year old wee man
Clever Mama clever Nannie
Told the story to his Grammy
Now his Grammy tells it too
As she sends her love to you
It was such a special day
That wee Stanley came to stay
On the horn he gave a toot
Then oor laddie just came oot.
