I Travel Every Time I Think Of You

in the stillness
of early morning
I might look up and
see the same moon, see the same stars

I'll tell myself
this is how we are connected

I'll tell myself
I only have to go the distance
like the lightning of thought
in my mind
or riding on the tail of a streaking comet
or trailing on the end of a falling star

and then
there you are
you're not so far away

and we are
together again, once more

its like the opening of
a door

I travel every time
I think of you

MELOO STRAIGHT FOM HER TILT-A-WORLD

DEDICATED TO THOSE
(YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE)
I LOVE WITH MY WHOLE HEART

I think some readers might fail to see
the synchronicity of this. Synchronicity happens
with those who know one another well, it happens
with the passage of time and the developing, the maturing
of love and understanding...when one glance into the sky
can bring a person to you or when you can finish thoughts
and sentences and that person isn't even in the room, but
in another place, staring at another sky...but you know
in your heart, is all just one sky and with that
you bring them home to you.
