'' I'll Forever Be Single ''

Out on a date,
She showed up late,
I waited but got no excuse,
Not being on time is one pet hate,
I see it as a form of abuse.

I looked at her hair,
I'd have sworn she was fair,
But suddenly she appeared to be brown,
Another fault she just doesn't care,
This is getting me down.

Her designer dress,
What a mess,
I prefer my ladies in jeans,
I do admit I was feeling the stress,
Her attitude really demeans.

I'm not a fan,
Of that fake tan,
I told her it just didn't suit,
She said, are you daft I'm from Pakistan,
You're really not very astute.

I always go half,
Are you having a laugh?
Suddenly her demeanour changed,
Upsetting a woman is one major gaffe,
She has left me feeling deranged.

On this our first date,
I'd expect us to mate,
As a man I expect the full works,
She replied the subjects not up for debate,
Some of you really are jerks.

There are no rules,
For some male fools,
Their understanding of a woman is nil,
Perhaps that's why when this one pulls,
I tend to give them the chill.

As she said goodbye,
I started to cry,
She said among your own you should mingle,
The fact you're inept you cannot deny,
She told me,
