 ramblings and things

I bought her a large fish and taties
With glasses of Guinness and cyder
Proclaimed undying love
Under bright stars above
Walked long twisty footpaths beside her

She gave me a drag of her  reefer
We shared it puff for puff for puff
Then we made love
Under neon skies above
We only smoked the really good stuff.

We came down from that trip next morning
Cuddled naked between two grassy banks
I think she was shy
As we muttered goodbye
Declaring undying love and our thanks

We'd been drinking Poor Man's Black Velvet
That's Guinness and Strong cider mixed
Taken with a toke
Life seems like a joke
And any problem seems so easily fixed.

Sometimes now when I eat fish and taties
That memory comes flooding back to mind
How we both got so high
Under a multi coloured sky
And made love of the mind blowing kind,

Black Velvet, Black Velvet, Black Velvet
That's Guinness and strong cyder mixed
There could be different stories
If it were drunk by the Tories
And quite a few things might be fixed
