'' I'm Off To Get Plastered ''

You're driving me insane,
Why blame me,
I wish you'd refrain,
Even I can see.

It's my parents fault,
That's my excuse,
Though I refuse to halt,
They're giving me abuse.

Or else it's those others,
I don't accept blame,
The fact this smothers,
But I don't feel shame.

You get this feeling,
You're in need of a fix,
It sends you reeling,
It knocks you for six.

I'll beg steal or borrow,
To get my next hit,
I'll cause you such sorrow,
But I don't care one bit.

There is a fine line,
There is help out there,
But my fix is divine,
So, I don't really care.

Addiction's my choice,
It's the one I've made,
I don't hear your voice,
I'm too easily swayed.

To my family and friends,
I disown you all,
When my time ends,
They'll give you a call.

I'm wrecking my life,
That, I have mastered,
To those I've caused strife,
