Driving down the highway
Going under a bridge
To everyone else there’s nothing special
To me and everyone who knew you
It’s the place where you died
The place where your life ended
So young, so much ahead of you
Passing this bridge five days a week
At least twice per day
To get to and from where we went to college
Thinking about you every time I drive to and from campus
You were always so caring, considerate, and kind
Talking in short bits here and there on campus
I’ll remember you forever
Memories flood my mind every time I go around campus
Nothing is the same without you
Wishing you could still be here
