Good Morning Sunshine!
I woke up this morning under a sinister cloud.
Last night had left me in the dark, my emotions drained.
But as I mope in front of the computer, happiness dawned,
and my thoughts of another day of gray skies brightened.
I noticed your note on the monitor as I checked my mail.
The glow of your smile showed through your words.
How could I allow my mind to be clouded with doubts?
Every day I awake with the thought of you by my side.
Then as I come awake I remember it was a dream.
I long to look in your eyes, and bask in your glow.
But I have to smile, my spirits arise as I read your note,
A simple phrase that brightens my day ... You are my sunshine!
