Values
There's been a shift in values
It's seen most everywhere
And with our country in distress
Some just don't seem to care.
Intolerant of opposing views
They who are malcontent
Now think themselves enlightened souls
Who condone no argument.
No longer do they swell with pride
When they hear our Anthem played
And violent protest has become
Part of their mob crusade.
These people worked so very hard
To kick God out of schools
And use the graft of politics
To bend and change the rules.
Oh yes, the times have truly changed
And our country is off track
So, the values that once made us great
Must somehow be brought back.
