Turn It Around...!
To live a life in pain and hurt,
And not know how to end it,
To protect yourself however you can,
For you can never befriend it!
How to let got those feelings?
That causes so much sadness,
What to do to turn it around?
And fill your heat with gladness.
To live a life in suffering,
And live a life in pain,
To be on the other end of abuse,
And forever live in shame!
A lifetime of abuse and torment,
Feeling of fear second to none,
How to diffuse it, what do we do?
For only if we turn it around have we won!
No more abuse will darken my life,
No more pain in my heart,
Fear and pain are in my past,
Now its time for a better start!
To be in love, what a feeling...
What wonderment would it invoke in me?
To share a passion of love,
What a life that would be!
Will it happen, I don't know,
But what if dreams can come true?
How would I cope, how would I deal,
About things of which I haven't a clue!
I don't know how to deal with...
The ache in my heart every day,
What do I do, how do I cope?
When it never goes away!
Will I move onward and forward?
Or will I forever live in the past?
I don't want to be, I want to be free!
And be released at last!
How and when do we know what love is?
How do we know its there?
How will we cope with the wonderment?
That not only someone loves you, they care!
