Parallel Presidents?

For those who believe in the supernatural herewith something to whet your appetite. Looking through some old newspaper cuttings I found the following:

The Sunday Express London March 5th 1995

After the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in November 1963 historians began to notice a series of bizarre connections with the murder of another American President, Abraham Lincoln, almost 100 years earlier.

Both Lincoln and Kennedy were shot in the head on a Friday, in the presence of their wives.

Lincoln was shot in a theatre by a man who hid in a warehouse. Kennedy was shot from a warehouse by a man who hid in a theatre.

Lincoln's secretary, whose name was Kennedy, advised him not to go to the theatre. Kennedy's secretary, whose name was Lincoln, advised him not to go to Dallas.

The assassins, John Wilkes Booth and Lee Harvey Oswald, were both Southerners in their twenties. Both were shot dead before they could be tried. Booth was born in 1839 and Oswald in 1939.

Lincoln and Kennedy were both succeeded by men called Johnson – Andrew Johnson in Lincoln's case, Lyndon Johnson in Kennedy's.

Lincoln was elected President in 1860, and Kennedy in 1960. Andrew Johnson was born in 1808, and Lyndon in 1908.

Kennedy was riding in a Lincoln when he was shot.

Are these connections merely fanciful – the product of the human mind's instinctive search for symmetry in the chaotic information it processes?

Or was some supernatural force behind both assassinations, chuckling as it left its trail of clues?
