IDLE FARMER

So, you sleep by your stick
Farming thus while you sleep?
Leaning too, on your stick?
Till bears come and eat you up?
Eat you up and all the crop?
Yes, I sleep and do naught
Cockroaches do the work
Don't you see, how they run?
Driving tractors around me
My employ, rat's business
I do sleep while the ants
Work for me; it's enough
I am not what you think.
Though I sleep while they work
I give food to us all.
