I always love the clack of high heels on cement
The fragrance of perfume almost impossible to forget
I always loved a dress dancing as she walked slowly
Lips ever kissable that seem to look as if they were wet
I loved the being able to passionately kiss ever so
Lingering lips as if the lips were clinging on so soft
Spending time as one on a rug for two by the fire
While only candle light gently moved shadows aloft
Beautiful wine as music played softly and romantically
More so all the while alone with no callers or phone
Nibbles to slowly help pass the time grapes and fruit
Lights out doors locked just two as if only one alone
Holding hands walking through a park on autumn leaves
Sitting chatting of childhood days now long gone by
Laying in the heather grasses finding shaped in clouds
As they slowly travel across a pale blue springtime sky
That special smile I love you across a book shop Isle
Window shopping of a night just two making their way
To home a big blanket an open fire bright within a night
To be as one until the gentle pre dawn light bring a new day
