When my silver haired honey was living
around July I would take out my Christmas music and play it.
He often said I was a little 'nutty'.
I did not argue with that.
But I played it just the same. He loved it also.
This is one of my favorites "OH, HOLY NIGHT".
Without Christmas how could we have the blessed America we have.
Jesus has blessed our country so richly. I do pray we Christians in
America and around the world will repent and come back to the true worship of our Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ.
The donkey walked at a slow pace
His burden was a young mother to be
Joseph her betrothed husband walked ahead
leading the way to Bethlehem the city of their heritage

The cold wind blow hard on their cheeks causing their eyes to sting with tears
The day was coming to an end and the child inside was kicking hard at her ribs

They could see the lights from the city soon they would find
A place to spend the night and food to eat
Each place they came to they were told
no room here -- no room here -- no room here

Then they came to a stable - her body was racked with birth pains
Joseph gently helped her from the donkey and lay her on a heap of straw for a mattress

The sheep cows and donkey were witness to the birth of the holy Babe
They wrapped Him in the swaddling clothes they had brought with them
then lay Him down on straw in the manger where the animals were feed

The Babe lay there His hands reaching out into the unknown
Tiny fingers searching for hands to grasp
Mary kissed His soft cheek with a heart full of love

She remembered what the angel had told her before He was conceived
She knew this was God's only begotten Son that she had given birth to

Christmas will be here soon - the celebration of the birth of that Babe
but He isn't a babe anymore

He is our Saviour who sits at His and ours Father's right hand
making intercession for me and you

His hands are still reaching out to the world
searching for all that will come to Him
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We can't remember the cradle without remembering the cross
and the great price The Baby would pay for us when He grew up

There are many that still say as they did to Mary and Joseph that night
There is no room here
But there are millions of us - with hearts full of love for that
Babe who is known to us as
JESUS THE CHRIST--------THE MESSIAH
KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS

Mary was a special blessed woman to carry Jesus
in her womb and in her heart and her arms
Joseph was a special blessed man to carry Jesus in his heart and arms
