Irish graves so different, read the names

No chance to live, no chance to make peace

Belfast, Derry, comrades in Cork

Some comrades escaped to die in free New York

Our national graves remember them all

Goodbye's denied, kill at will

Tom Williams taken, not forgotten, many years

Belfast was punished, those terrible years

No farewell goodbye, the noose or the gun

Sacred ground our rights were denied

Killed for freedom, Ireland cried

Cromwell came, couldn't finish it all

Children of freedom, resistance is strong

Irish graves so different, read the names

No chance to live, no chance to make peace
