 The Unfairness Of Angels

dreamweavertheunfairnessofangels
Amsterdam

Bikes, bikes everywhere, but none that I can ride
It's a nightmare crossing the road, I'm petrified
A place where Google maps goes into meltdown
Turn right, turn left over the canal and back to town
A place that has both my names into one. Bar Tram
Welcome to the crazy world of Amsterdam
Where coffee shops sell more than espresso
You can buy a ticket to place you don't want to go
A selection of destinations within mental states
Just make sure you don't lose your mates
The only place where all boys are dreamers
Of growing up as window cleaners
Amongst the decreasing shrinking fading red
Where a tap on the window can get you head
But away from the stag do's and loony tunes
Amongst the parks where the tulip blooms
You'll find art and culture and history
And cats on boats looking for a family
Just outside the suburbs life chills
Time goes at the pace of the windmills
And when dusk comes and the bikes slow
There's always a bar for you to go
Life there is automatic, it need no clutch
They say they're the best, but not by much
But it's impossible not to love the Dutch.
