No living thing in human form was then
As if Adam and Eve were not yet at all
GOD being life and life being GOD not yet
The very idea of any religion not yet to call
The oldest living things then were trees
The planet lush in forest swamp and sea
Only things that could join the clouds once
Was away back then the towering tallest tree
After them came things we still do not know
On ground and in sky and on it all does go
Millions of years after came a hairier form
Of the human form endless insist they know
What we see now as dry and only sand existing
And mostly all of any later living mighty places
Soon became the bottom of rising oceans and seas
All hidden deeply in time without too many traces
But surviving it all the mighty tallest of trees
As valley's sank and rose mountains sea born free
And upon them grew the seeds of towering trees
To later grow so and beyond imagination the tree
Reaching heights over endless day's and night's
All over the earth to an unimaginable as if tower
Thriving for millions of years come what ever may
Including sunshine storm hotter times to shower
Then as if something moved times mightiest clock
Along came a foe so dangerous to the very core
And slowly the first living thing upon earth fell
The towering trees slowly became on earth no more
