pity seaking

Donating to charity
Always an Angel
I praise not me but family
While in college
Granddaughters summer job
"Make a Wish!" Foundation
She a volunteer
Helping Kids with Cancer
Fatal health problems
She would find them
Find wishes for them
The baseball player they wanted to meet
First trip to Disneyland
Her job to find the donors
Make it happen!
So rewarding
Proud that being her goal
Graduated now
Her new job same different company
Yesterday was a visit to a Lavender farm
It was a win win for everyone
Two local singing groups played music
It was a venue for them well loved
Her only Advertizement prior contacts
Family and friends spreading the word
The farm hard to find
It was a great turnout
Some wine sold in glasses
Somewhat an oxymoron
That much abuse from alcohol consumption
But then who better to help the abused
Proceeds going to help abused children
Not everyone aware of the cause they were helping
There was little time for promotion
It was respect for Kelz they came
It was a good crowd that came in
I listened as they left at end of the day
It was a plus visit for all
The Kelz did not know Grandpa was an abused child
Things she did not have to know
But I am proud she helps those who cannot help themselves
No one was complaining about a five dollar admission
Or knew that the proceeds were going to help abused children
They knew if run by the Kelz she would be helping others
Instead of long rambling words
Really giving of oneself
Is reality
