To my best friend....you are the vivacious lily...truly a blessing in my life.
in the mantle of the abounding sun
the Forever Susan Asiatic Lily bursts with life’s energy,
upfacing in scintilla rays towards heavenly warmth,
dual hues of burgundy and burnt orange
elevate in eloquence
a representation of friendship,
six tepals an embodiment
of the virtues that percolate life,
the complexion vivaciously proffers
kindness and love,
there’s found gentleness of influence,
like the flower that captures her senses
she is the gentle soul,
the half of iron that sharpens1 others,
an inspiration from strength unknown,
2a friendship like the water reflection
of the flower so too the heart it reflects.
