From the Heart Through the Pen

Consistently getting defeated by this Emerald Warrior
Battles taken place in Somnia
We have to change the venue
Trying to do this without a glimpse of her
If not we'll stay at a loss
She's on repeat in all these thoughts
Damn those gems got me so lost
No one has a clue what it cost
We were a lot of work
She's also a lot of worth
It's the reason I put her first
It's the reason I finished last
Over here sounding zaynlike
Taylor isn't the only to feel insane right
Resisted with all my might
Now on a rope that's tight averting my sight
Not to tumble...no longer my fight
Humble heart beating swiftlike
Met by silence
Hands open...palms down
Let it go...falling without a sound
Endless like the blade
In but never out
Just in case there was any doubt
Scathed and scarred
Million dollar question is
Where was the guard?
