A Bhoys Goodbye

A Bhoys Goodbye July 25, 2017

Farewell to Glasgow. I'm saying goodbye

I'll miss the Calton, I'll miss the Celtic beat

Green and white without retreat

Friends I love to meet

I think of Glasgow from many miles

Glasgow smiles at the Celtic end

I love my town, I went away

I miss my Celtic, I could not stay

I thank my town, never put it down

I'm in a country of my choice

Farewell Glasgow town It's hard to say goodbye

No future hear for a bhoy like me

My Glasgow is proud and strong

Calton is Irish, we can't be wrong

A Glasgow smile from many miles from me to you

No goodbye, no tear filled eyes

I left my Glasgow with private cries

Farewell to Glasgow I want to say goodbye

I'll miss the Calton, I'll miss the Celtic beat
