Look at your children laughing and playing
They don't hear a word you are saying.
Is it because they close us out
So they can just run about.
Rules are set just to get broken.
Feeling anger from your child's mouth.
With loving words when they come back around.
Confusion set in the adults heart and mind.
Know one hearing their true cries.
For love and affection,
Us not understanding God's true blessing.
Mixed messages due to closed ears.
Not understanding our Baby's tears.
Not knowing what to do on this cruel planet.
Work hard every day to take in their feelings
And what they may say.
Take the time to have a open ear,
To sooth their heart,to wipe their tears.
Say I love you at least once a day,before your children
go out to play.
Hold their hands,kiss them goodnight,
Tuck them into their beds every night.
Say a prayer before turning out the lights.
As a parent keep a open ear,your child's future is
coming near.
Let them know that your always there.
So in their future they are aware.
