My Joy
To my lovely son Clint on his 46th birthday today 23/8/17. Hope you have a lovely day love always hugs Mum and Star. xxx
Somewhere back in time I fell
With you son and truth to tell
I was shaking in my shoes
For a while I had the blues
Then the day that you were born
A very very special morn
I just lay and cried with joy
For you had big blue eyes my boy
Your mouth was shaped just like your Dad
My you were a handsome lad
I wanted just to shout out loud
I was so very very proud
Time went by you up an grew
This my son is very true
Sometimes you would drive me mad
For you were a likely lad
Loved your food and things like that
Loved the dog and loved the car
But one day you grew to man
Now you do all that you can
To help the people all around
And I know by care you`re bound
To help a person cross the road
And take from them their heavy load
I am pleased with all you are
You were built upon a star
Shining heart of glittering gold
And forty six is not so old
I just wanted you to know
Whereever in this life you go
I will love you every day
Have some fun go mountain play
Happy birthday dreams come true
Sending all my love to you
And though I won`t see you I know
Take this love where'ere you go
