Friends they come and go and they fade
Like natures seasons in life made
So many an opinion many a grade
Best being yourself a spade a spade
Socially religiously politically as well
Endless vines in life's jungle rings a bell
Some hear say nothing others they tell
From earths mountains to lower the dell
The best friend one has is mostly you
One can never lie to ones self it's true
Many know or not say that they knew
All as different as insects life on through
Best not to follow to hell with the mutitude
You know you've been dealt good to crude
That many couldn't handle honest to rude
Life it has so many most a different brood
They think they know you know they do not
Never will they and in life there's woe forgot
If you told them still worse would be their lot
In the veins of life is always found a silent clot
But being one's self and caring each day less
Of a world full of human created absolute mess
Never are they to say helped make it or confess
The only rule lives since the very days of old
All one can be and do is to be within a good soul
What others think is not really worth a solitary dime
As positive as able your walk in life through time
Live for today and to hell with anything that's divine
Give but keep some for you as you walk life's line
Forget donating the wealthy they can afford that
That how come they'er wealthy they'd steal your hat
Be proud of where you are life It's your ball and bat
Forget forgiving those who don't wipe feet on your mat
They all good to bad rich to poor know right and wrong
Their choices and your choices it's a life long song
Wisdom doesn't patronize us it's us to learn life long
Walk to your own drum and keep your rhythm true
Before any in life come what may be proud of you
Don't worship anyone but parents all life through
Think carefully before anything that you may do
