 Sir Ricky's Inspirational Poetry Corner

You have not come to something,
To feel the blazing fire;
To darkness of gloom will bring,
From the stormy desire.
A trumpet blast to a voice,
Begged not for what has been heard;
As for others may rejoice,
When they might hear the Holy Word.
Because you could not obey,
The command that was given;
Since you rather go astray,
Than to listen to Heaven.
Even if animals would touch,
Then they must be stoned to death;
Although God loves them so much,
They have to breathe their last breath.
The sight so terrifying,
Even Moses shook with fear;
While others were defying,
As they did joyously cheer.
You have come to Mount Zion,
The place of the living God;
Where the lamb with the lion,
Together honor and laud.
An innumerable host,
Of angels have assembled;
Along with the Holy Ghost,
As heathens in fear trembled.
The assembly of the church,
Of the firstborn in Heaven;
Will no longer have to search,
For inheritance given.
You have come before a judge,
And the spirits of people;
To you never held a grudge,
As told within the Gospel.
You have come to Jesus Christ,
Through the approval of God;
Because of blood sacrificed,
Cleansing you where you are flawed.
